WordCamps are typically an in-person event held around the world for anyone interested in all things WordPress. With the quarantine in place all in-person events were being canceled. So WordPress Central provided the resources to hold a WordCamp virtually. Santa Clarita, California was one of the first-ever held in April 2020.
The Solution
Gather up speakers who can share in an online platform. No travel needed. Just a good camera and mic – create a good slide deck and press present. I enjoyed presenting a very relevant topic of “7 Steps to Sustainability in Your Small Business.”
